Tho House of Lords' Select Committee appointed to consider the Coronation Oath has furniehed. ite report. It suggests a inodjtic-tion of tha oath, and recommends that the King should merely express disbelief in tha doctrine of transubstantiation, in the invocation or adoration of the Virgin Mary, ard in the sacrifice of the mass as practised by ths Church of Rome, as lreing contrary to tha Protestant religion.
