THE PAR;IS-BERLIN RACE. SPEED OF FRENCH AUTOMOBILES TO BE LIMITED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received July Ist, 9.20 a.m.) BERLIN, June 30. The racing automobiles, which started from Paris to Berlin on Thursday, arrived at Berlin yesterday. M. FounUer reached Berlin at 11.38 on Saturday morning, and met with an enthusiastic reception, being carried shoulder 'high on a chair in the midst of a huge crowd. M: Gjrardot was the seijQßd motorist to finish, arriving at 0.& 1 p~u. By two o'clock fifteen competitors iiad finished the journey. All of these motors were driven by benzine. The numerous accidents which occurred on the**road have aroused an outcry in Paris, wihere'M. Waldeck-Roußseau. the Premier; announced that he wi_ not allow road racing, and that henceforward the speed will be limited to 20 miles an hour. (Received. July Ist, 11.20 p.m.) BERLIN, July 1. Crowds boarded the car, kissing Fournier, and hanging wreaths round his neck. Many Princes were among the spectators. Most of th 9 hotels in Berlin flew the tri-colour. Fournier occasionally travelled seventyfive miles per hour. He averaged forty-six Panhard motors were second and third.
