ASHBURTON.
Mr C. J. Harper, chairman cf the Ashburton County Council, has wired his Excellency the Governor, asking that the Royal train may be allowed to pass out from the Ashburton station, and across the bridge slowly, in order to give the residents of the town and district an opportunity of showing their loyalty. .
