SYNOPSIS OF THE PREVIOUS 48 HOURS.
Decreasing pressure everywhere until about 8 p.m. on Sunday. Since then it has risen south of Na,pier and New Plymouth. Strong wind to gales from the westward, with rain, have been experienced generally. A low pressure from the west will pass east of the South Cape on Sunday, and is due there about the 6th instant. _-~. R. A. EDWIN.
