AUCKLAND v WANGANUI.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, September 15. The Wanganui representative team played the Auckland reps, at Epsom to-day" in wretched weather. Rain fell all day. and there was a small attendance of spectators. The game was a scramble all through, the ground being sodden and the ball so slippery as to -be beyond the control of the players. Auckland won by twenty points to nil, but the visitors made a much better fight than the score would indicate. They defended grandly, and played a stubborn uphill game all through, having hard luck in not getting a score.
