The Toroa sailed for Wellington and Napier on Saturday. The Kotomahana arrived from Wellington at 20 minutes to 8 o'clock on Saturday morning, and sailed for Wellington that night. Te Anau arrived from Dunedin. at a quarter past nine o'clock on Saturday morning, and sailed, fox Auckland via the East Coast that night. The Wanaka came out of quarantine at half-past nine o'clock on Saturday morning and was moored at No. 4 wharf about 6ft from the piles. The mooring ropes are guarded by galvanised iron tube 3, which are thought to be the most efficient means of preventing rats from land) ing. .
