Wind.—Gale from between north-east and east and south at all places northward of the East uape, Taupo and Manukau; strong easterly winds thence southward on the East coast to Cape Palliser; moderate easterly■ winds elsewhere.
Ba-EOliktee —Fall everywhere. SLa.—Heavy on eastern coast north of Kaikoura. . Tides —High on eastern coast north of xuukoura; poor ehewhere. Rain, probably heavy, may be expected at all places northward of the East Cape, Taupo and Raglan. SXHOPSIS OF THE PREVIOUS 24 HOTORS. A slowly decreasing pressure everywhere, with moderate to strong easterly winds. Ram has fallen heavily north of the Thames and Manukau and on parts of the East coast northward from Castlepoint to the East Cape. There has been a sharp frost at Naseby and Roxburgh, and a slight frost at the Bluff. Evidences indicate a low pressure north of the North Cape, travelling to E.S.E. Jtw JS-* i VV JLjN •
