The Hon. L. Walker went South by yesterday's express. The Hon. J. B. A'cland and Mrs Acland .were also passengers. (
Mr Gilbert Anderson was a passenger by the express for the South yesterday. Captain Willis went South yesterday morning.
Inspector Broham was a passenger by yesterday's express for the South.
Amongst the passengers for th% South by the express yesterday were Messrs Geo. Evans, T. Gow, S. Orchard, and G. Bush. Mr J. Myers, of Messrs McMurtie and Co., Sydney, is at present visiting Ohristchurch. Mr J. E. March (Superintendent of Village Settlements) arrived from the South by the express last night.
