ST. ALBANS.
The St. Albans Borough Council met last night. Present—The Mayor (Mr Davey), Crs. C. F. Money, W. J. Neate, A. Keig, J. J. Glass, H. Morgan, J. Jackman. V. J. Barlow, and J. Milton. The Finance Committee recommended the payment of accounts amounting to £701 16s 2d, which was agreed to. The balance on the general account was £71 8s sd, and the credit to loan account was £5016 7s 7d. The Council dealt with a large quantity of routine business, and referred to the different Committees several matters, to be reported upon by the next meeting.
