WELLINGTON, November 11. The Arbitration Court delivered its award in the furnittire trade dispute to-day. The Court decided on the lines of the Conciliation Board's recommendations, with the exception that 9s a day was fixed as the minimum wage instead of 83, and the time after which upholsterers may take on second apprentices was altered from two to three years. The award takes effect on the 15th instant, and holds good until December 31st, 1893.

The award in the furniture dispute contained a provision for the employment of less expert workmen at a reduced rate of wages, to be fixed by a Committee of employers and employees.
