London, August 24. Lord Salisbury has invitad the Powers to place Greece in a position to herself guarantee the payment of interest upon the war indemnity loan ; the Powers to take the control of the Greek revenues, in order that the local requirements of the couutry may be met.

CoNSTANTiNOPr/E, August 25. , The Ambassadors of the Powers, at Constantinople, have decided to ascertain what amount of the Greek revenue is assignable as security for the indemnity loan. The Porte has proposed to abandon Trikhala, and to occupy Larissa, Volo, and the territory forming the northeastern boundary of Thessaly; the Turkish troops to be drawn elsewhere immediately this is concluded.
