INDIGNATION IN AMERICA.

The Spanish authorities in Cuba have sentenced the niece of President Cisneros, a beautiful young lady of twenty years, to penal servitude for life at Ceuta, a Spanish town and port in Morocco, Africa, on a charge of rebellion. The sentence has aroused intense indignation in America, and the widow of Jefferson Davis and many leading ladies are petitioning the Queen Regent of Spain in ■regard to the case. It is alleged that the young lady rejected the advances of General Weyler's adjutant, and the charge was the outcome of revenge.
