TRIAL GAME.
The weather on Saturday was showery for the third trial game, and the attendance at Lancaster Park was very small. Both the A and B teams were short of tbeir selected men, but, nevertheless, a good practice was indulged m, the A team winning by 18 points (three goals from tries and a try) to 8 points (a goal from a try and a try).. For the winners Orchard (?.), Menzies and .7.'onston scored tries, Hobbs converting two and Duncan one of them, f For the B's Dansey and Philip scored tries, aud Fitzgerald converted one. Mr J. Daniels was referee.
