PRESIDENT'S CUP MATCH.
At Lancaster Park Merivale B defeated Christ's College by 29 points to 3. By this win Merivale hold the Vup for this season. A Committee meeting was held on Friday evening in connection with Whittaker'. benefit football match. The Canvassing Committee reported that the tickets were selling satisfactorily. The services of a brass band, which will leave Cathedral square at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday was accepted with thanks. The meeting adjourned till Tuesday evening.
