FRUIT-GROWERS' CONFERENCE.
Fruit-growers and horticulturists are reminded that the conference of delegates ol Australasian fruit-growers takes place at Wellington on the 4th May next, and the Associations who intend sending delegates are requested to forward the delegates' names at once to the Secretary of Agriculture, in order that the Department may be enabled to issue early a complete list of the representatives, So far a number of names have been received from the Australian colonies. A circular which has been issued announces that the subjects at. tho Conference are to be divided into four partsProduction, Distribution, Preservation and Miscellaneous. An exhibition is to be held in connection with the Conference, for which exhibits may be delivered not later than 30th April, and awards are to be also given for horticultural appliances and implements. »The first exhibition will ba uivided into three sections, A and B opeto New Zealand growers only, and C open to all Australia. Free railway passes an to be issued to all accredited delegates,; and 100 Copies Of, the prOoefldillgß Of the Conference are to be placed at the disposal ot the Department of Agriculture for each colony, and subsequent numbers to be supplied at actual cost. The circular contains other information, which all interested ia fruit culture should peruse.
