Press Association -By Telegraph-Copyright London, June G. It is stated that Mr Eddy objects to his increase in salary being submitted to Parliament if it is likely to be rejected. Melbourne, June 6. The Premier, Mr Turner, denied tho truth of the rumour that Mr Eddy Avas offered a very large salary to undertake the management of tho Victorian railways for two years and endeavour to sot them in order.
