tention of Parliament to the injustice done to aetUeti by rigid enforcement of present Rabbit Act, and recommending the Government to itself import and supply to settlers wire netting at cost price, with duty and railage free, or subsidise the use of nettine by one-third of its cost, wire netting being the only practicable means of coping with the rabbit pest; and (2) Declaring that the Fencing Act should be so altered a. to make a rabbit proof fence the only legal boundaxv fence in proclaimed rabbit districts.
