The English wheat market has a dowllw&rd tendency; the Contineafeai Is weak and dedinirig, and thV&merican is weak and changing a little for the worse. Three months' bills are discounted at £ to 1 per cent. At the wool sales there is a £3sdium selection, which is slow of sale". Up to date 17,500 bales have been sold, including 10,000 to American buyers. The Danes are selling butter at any being determined to oust the Australian article from the market, and are making preparations for a long struggle. The greater part of the butter by Oroya is being stored, but some of it was sold at an average of 91s. The glut in the market is increasing. * St. Peteesbubg, February 4. At a Congress of millers it was resolved to export flour only to Great Britain, Egypt, Asia Minor and places on the shores of the Black Sea and Mediterranean. r Melbourne, February 4.
