EXPLOSION AT BOILING-DOWN WORKS.
One of the digestors of Oddy's boiling-down works, at Deniliquiii, exploded yesterday, and the heavy iron top -with 200 carcases-of sheep-Ws" blown throngh the roof high into the air. Boiling fat was sent in all directions, and the employees miraculously escaped injury. FISHERIES COMMISSION. Melbourne, February 2. The New South Wales Fisheries Commission is inspecting the Victorian fisheries.
