The Nicaraguan Canal Bill, directing the issue of a hundred million dollar bonds, of which seventy million are guaranteed, principal and interest, has passed the Senate. Melbourne. January 26. A meeting of American citizens decided to petition the American Congress to proceed with the Nicaragua Canal.
