A SHEARING DISPUTE.
A shearing dispute hae occurred at Elephant Hill, and the ; men have left in consequence. It appears the men thought the sheep were too web to shear, and.on being told to commence declined until they were dry. The *bed manager, Mr Parker, junr., is alleged then to have made xua of an insulting expression about the men, and they decided to leave unless he withdrew it* On Mr Parker declining to do this the men deoided to leave, and were accordingly paid off. The shed would have but out in three days.
