INSPECTION OF CATHOLIC SCHOOLS.
The Education Board at Timaru yesterday deferred their reply to the request that the Inspector should examine Cathoio •ohoolt, for the purpose oC inquiring what schools are desired to be examined. The ptopos&l to ask for a contribution to the extra cost, if any, waa rejeoted, but an objection wm raised to acceding to the request on the score of expense, aa the' Inspector Vault fairly be paid extra for extra work.
