(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) WELLINGTON, March 8. The Tyser line has come to the rescue of the Taranaki butter factories by agreeing to take 200 packages in the Hawke's Bay. NELSON, March 8. Johann Earnest Chriatean Blecher, charged with attempting to set fire to premises in Bridge street, was committed for trial at the Supreme Court by Mr H. W. Robinson, R.M. Bail was allowed, himself in £100 and two sureties in £50, which were forthcoming. DUNEDIN, March 8. Ata meeting to-night it was resolved to form a Dunedin Amateur Swimming Club. At the Police Court M. Johnson, of South Dtmediu, was fined 20s . and costs for neglecting to stamp a receipt. A six-roomed wooden house in South Dunedin, owned and occupied by John Davis, was burned down. The insurances on the house were £250, furniture £150, both in the Standard.
