Ab the meeting of the Hospital Board yesberday ib was reported thab a handsome donation to the funds for the erection of the Nurses' Home had been made, in the shape of a portion of the admission fees paid by those who visited the s.s. Gothic ou Thursday last. Mr H. W. Peryman, the acting Chairman, suggested that the money should be devoted to the erection < f a tower, to be called "The Gothic Tower." A member wished to know whether that title wa3 to denote the order of architecture or would the tower be built in the Doric or Corinthian style. MrPeryman said the order of architecture to be adopted would be a matter of detail. He merely made the suggestion, which, however, was not acted upou.
