The auctioneers' reports are aa follows :— The New Zealand Land Association, Limited, sold a large catalogue of skins, hides, and fat at the following prices:— Beet crossbred, 5s 6d to 6s Id; medium do, 4s to 5s 2d ; best merino, 3s 9d to 4s 4d; medium do, 2s 3d to 33 Id; dry crossbred and dry merino, various prices equal to fully 4d per lb; rough fat l£d to lgd per lb; hides and calfskins, lfd to 4d per lb. Tone of market—Good competition ; prices equal to last week. Messbs Pyke axd Co. sold 753 skins, 16 hides,, and 18 packages fat at the following prices :—Best halfbred, 5s to 6s ; medium do, 3s 6d to 4s 6d; best longwool, 4s 9d to 6s; medium do, 3s 6d | to 4s 3d; best merino, 2s 6d to 3s 3d; dry crossbred, 2s to 4s 6d; dry merino, Sis to 3s 6d; rough fat, l£d to lfd per lb. Tone of market — Fair. Mb F. C. Messrs Wilsoh I and Sons made a fair start at Rangiora Market at the following prices:—Medium halfbred, 3s 9d to 4s 6d • dry skins, 2s to 3s 6d. PRODUCE SALES. Messrs Wilson and Sons, at Rangicra, seld grass seeds, 3s 6d for best, 2s for medium ; chick wheat, 2s 3d ; cocksfoot, Id, inferior; oats, 2s 3d; potatoes were low, 4s to 6s per sack ; quantities merchandise sold fairly well. PIGS AND POULTRY SALES. Mr H. B. Sobenskn reports as follows: —Number of pigs sold 49; heavy baconers, I 425; light baconers, 35s to 40s; light ! porkers, 193 to 25s ; stores, 11s to 13s; i weaners, 7s to 10s. Tone of market moderate ; not much life, except in weaners and stores. Number of poultry sold 598, as follows:—Heavy roosters, 2s 9d to 3s od and 7s choice; light roosters,2s to 2s 6d ; old hens, Is 9d to 2s 3d; young hens, 2s 3d to 3s, 4s for better class ; ducks, 3s to 3s 6d; geese, 6s 6d; tur'teys, 7s 6d hens to 18s gobblers.
