SPRINGSTON RACES.
At the Amberley races to-day Tornado should about win the Hurdle Race, Lady Sockburn the Amberley Cup, Lady Grey the Maiden, and Adieu the Teviotdale Plate. Mr Holmes, owner of Joe, has entered an objection against the Stewards of the Canterbury Trotting Club paying over tha stakes in connection with the Association Ground Cup, which race was awarded to Berlin Boy.
The following nominations have been received for this meeting, taking place May 28th :— Handicap Hurdle Race, of 15 sots. One mile and a half.
