PRESIDENT'S CUP.

U.C.C.C. v MIDLAND B. .The match between these teams for the President's Cup was concluded on Saturday, the former winninar by an Innings dadllrtms. The scores were—U.C.C.C., 155,1 Maxwell 35, Hartland 29, Robison 20, Henderson 16, Boss 14; Midland, first innings 38, Gapes 15 and Griffin 10 not out; Mcond innings 108, McKay 28, Newton" 19, Garty 14, and Husband 14. The U.C.C.C. bowlers were Boss and Henderson and for the Midland Henderson, McKay, and Schneider were the most successful The match between, the Midland No. 1 team and Sydenham Druids was concluded at Hagley Park on Saturday, when the Midlanders won by 191 rune. Scores:— (Mansell 72, Bowe 49, Morgan 27, Frith 23,

Garrard 16, Barge 12); Sydenham Druids, 92 and 64 (Fisher 16, Hitchinga 12, Forrester 12, Round 10). Rowe bowled well for the Midland, as did Skelton for the Druids.

The match Boys' High School v Christ's College resulted in an easy win for the School by an innings and 5 runs. In the first innings the High School scored 121 for the loss of four wickets—(Buchanan 39, Lambie 34, Craddock 18, not out. Simms 11)— when the innings was declared closed. The College responded with 27 and 89, bringing their total up to 116— (Thorpe 33, Murphy 12, Strouta and Montgomery 10).
