The Junior Cup match between the Midland Second and St. Albans was con* eluded at Hapcley Park on Saturday, when the former wou by 68 runs. Scores—l7o and 93 (Richards 84 and Hay 30); St. Albans 12tf (J. Homer 42 not out and 67, Hasel 18, C. Colville 14 not out, J. W. Homer 12). J. Hornerand Colville bowled well for 6c. Altoans as did Lawrence and Barry for the Midland. The game Lancaster Park vAddington resulted in a win for the former by 147 runs. Scores—L.P.C., 74 and 146 (Whittle 17 and 49, .Bates 40, Johnson 22, Waller 18, Jackman 12, Cooke 11, Cooper 10); Aldington, 42 and 31 (Donnelly 23, being the only one able to reach double figures in both Inning*). The Addingcon team batted four short in the second innings. For the winners. Bates four wickets for 11 runs, Johnson six for 24 and three for 0 runs were the best. For the Addingcon, Jones six wickets for 14 runs aud four for 40, Curtain three for 31, Gates three for 20. The wicket was a good one. The United C.C.v Second v Christ's College match was concluded on Saturday and resulted fn an easy win for the United by an innings aud 20 runs. The College followed on, and were all disposed of for a total of 67, to which Grant and Davie each contributed 15, Watt 13, Gardner 10. B. Kit to did most of the bowling, taking six wicket* for 25.
