The match, Lancaster Park No. 3 Eleven v Richmond, on the Park, resulted in an easy win for the Park by 116 runs on the first innings. The scores were as follows:—Park 178, Richmond 62. The chief scores for the Park were, Marshall 67 not out, G. Steere SBJStringer 21, Steeds 19. For Richmond, Champness Iβ, Stevens 15, and Craddock 11. A. K. Hawkins and Marshall bowled well for the Park, as did Cusack and Stephenson for Richmond. A match was played at Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon between teams representing the Lyttelton C.C. and & team of all comers. The former, in their first innings, made 62, Just 15, Wagstaff«ls, being the only ones who got into double figures. The All Comers, in their first innings, made 20, 12 of which were byes. Their second innings was a better attempt, and they managed to put together 96 runs, Arnold 15, Christian 14, G. Collins 13, J. Reed 12, and Barry 14. A match was played at Amberley on Saturday last between the Rangiora and Amberley Clubs. The scores were :— Rangiora, 54 and 41; Amberley, 57 and 39 for one wicket. The latter consequently won by nine wickets. The principal scorers were, for Rangiora, Sheath 16 and Lloyd Iβ in the first Innings and Burt 30 in the second; for Amberley, Adams 16 and Potts 11 in the first and Adams 21 not out and Matson 15 in the second.
