THE LABOR DEMONSTRATION.

Bebon, April 16.
As the day for holding the great labor demonstration approaches the excitement increases. The workmen employed at Liebig's iron works, in this city, were refused a holiday on the Ist May, the date fixed for the demonstration, and, in consequence, tbe Socialists blew up a portion of the buildings with dynamite.
London, April 16. The organisers of the labor demonstration in Paris deprecate holding a procession, and advise that holiday meetings should be held instead. Berlin, April 16.
German Socialists recommend that a holiday should be observed whereever feasible, and express a desire to avoid any conflict with the authorities.
