OTHER MATCHES.
A match between Rangiora and Kaiapoi fifteens was played on the ground of the latter during Saturday afternoon. The ground was somewhat sloppy. The game resulted in a win for Kaiapoi by 7 points to nothing, 2 goals and a try being The Linwood Second met and defeated Christchurch Third 5 tries to nothing. The first spell was well contested, Linwood scoring one try only, Ormandy and Jack playing especially* well. In the second spell Linwood playing a faster game placed another four tries to their credit. The tries were secured by Crosbie, Price, Ormandy, Hyland, and Jack. The Linwood Juniors met the Durham street, and won by 6 points to nothing.
The scoring was done by Andrews and Machin. For Durham street Donaldson, McT«enahan, and Mc-'arlane were most prominent. . . __ _ The Cambridge Second played the C J.C. Second at Riccarton, and a good game ended in a draw, each side scoring 1 point. Harding secured the try Ifor Jockeys, and Brewer did likewise for Cambridge.. The match between the Milton becond and Selwyn ended in an easy win for Milton by 16 points (2 goals and 10 tries) to nothing. • ■ The Addington Third met the Richmond Juniors, and. after a very fast game, came off victorious by 3 points to nothing. Patterson scored the try, which Parker converted into a goal. A match was played on Saturday between the Albion and Victorian Football Clubs, resulting in a win for the former by a try to nothing. Sykes gained the try for the Albion. _ , The return match between the Sydenham Juniors and Lyttelton Juniors resulted in a win for the latter by 2 points to nothing. The tries were secured by C. Clary and Douglas. The Sydenham Fourth met the Sydenham Druids on Saturday, the former winning by 4 points to nothing—a goal kicked by Rowe from a mark by Forrester, and try obtained by Lancaster The Sydenham Fourth v Cambridge Second, match of the Saturday previous is a draw, the C.R.U. giving the try appealed for to Sydenham.
