The Merivale Second v Canterbury College Second met for the second time on Saturday, and after a hard-fought game Merivale proved the better team by 10 points to nothing. During the first spell the game was very even, the only score being a goal from a mark kicked by Pearse for Merivale. The Cambridge First and Linwood First teams met on the former's ground on Saturday, and a fast and exciting game ended in a win for the home team by 1 try, scored by T. Owens, to nothing.
