Civil Cases.—J. P. Kalaugher v Thos. Egan, claim £2 lis judgment summons. The case was adjourned lor four weeks to allow of the balance being paid. Official Assignee in the estate of W. Lawson v R. S. Cook, claim £9 3s lOd. Mr F. Wilson Smith appeared for plaintiff, and Mr J. W. White for defendant. This was a claim for goods supplied, part of which was disputed by defendant. The case was adjourned till next Court day to allow of defendant producing a book bearing on an item of £55 5s for rent. A. Fisher vW. Gaiger, claim lis 6d. Judgment for 9s and costs 3s. The Court then rose.
