SAILING OP THE HALCIONE.

" The Halcione sailed early yesterday morning. It was 7.90 a.xn. when she tripped her anchor, and ia tow of the p.s. Titan started for the Heads. The N.W. gale was very strong, and there was a very nasty sea outside, but the Titan' stuck to her manfully, though the tow rope parted several times, and did not let go till the ship had been taken a good four miles clear of the Heads. She then cast off. the time about 10 a.m„ aad the ship proceeded on her way under her. lower topsails, jib, and forstopmast staysail. She was in a position to stand well clear cf the Peninsula, and before such a wholesale breeze should sodu lessen her distance from the Horn. Captain and Mrs Croker have the hearty good wishes of many for a pleasant and speedy trip.
