SHIPBUILDING AT AUCKLAND.

It is stated, by the Auckland " Her—ld" that Messrs Miceol have, iv addition to the construction of the paddle.steamer for the North Shore Ferry Company, do fewer than five schooners of various sires the stocks, taost of them in a very forward state of completion. Four of these are to the order of various parties, and will be out of b«wi shortly, sad ia each case we understand they are repetition orders, testifying to the satisfaction with which former orders were executed. Two of them are being built especially for the Messrs Goddefroi and Son, of Samoa and Hamburg-, similar in build and risr to the schooner Vailele, which was sentdown to the XslandsHbgr the Messrs Niceol some eighteen month? ago, and are adapted for coSectine cargo at the variousicteups in the Pacific. The order for these was r.=*N»veil about two mouths ago, aad the rapidity wi'h which thelt>rder will be completed is evident from the fact that the tw j vesselss J about 20 tons each, will be launched next week, when the agents of the SLimoan firm, Messrs, Cruickshauk aad Co.. will despatch them under the charge of Captains Lombard and Schnltze. The i larger vessels, tha* is, the two which are built to order, are for loca. oiraers, one of about HO tons ' register, ia to the order of Mr HcEwen. and one of 130 tons, to the order of Messrs H. F. Anderson and Co. The third one is being built on spec, should register about 109 tons, and will he launched shortly after the other* are oat of hand. Negotiations are in progress fox the construction of other vessels.
