Robinson, Rawson, Andersons The s-s. Wakatipu, Captain Cameron, left Sydney st 3 p.m. on Tnesday, January Bth, and reached Wellington at 8.30 p.m. on January 13th. Sailed again at 2 p.m., aad arrived in harbor at 6.30 a.m. yesterday. Had light variable winds to Wellington, thence strong N.W. winds till arrival as above. The Wakatipu discharged 150 tonscargo at the steamers' wharf, and sailed for Port Chalmers yesterday at 4.45 p.m. We thank Mr Grant, her purser, for files and report. MessrsC. W. Tnrner and Co.'s handsome barque Sunbeam was signalled yesterday morning, but owinrtotheN.W. gale came to au anchorage between the heads. She left Newcastle on December Stst, and has therefore been seventeen days on the trip. She brings a cargo of coals for Mr C. W. -Turner. The Adelphoi. barque, is expected from Newcastle with ooalß for Mr C. W. Turner. - The s.s. Taupo, Captain Carey, left Wellington at 6 p.m. on Tnesday. and arrived in harbor at 10.40 " sum." yesterday. Had strong westerly gale down the coast. She moored at the Steamers' wharf, where she discharged some 90 tons cargo, and having loaded, sailed for Port Chalmers last night. We thank. Mr Dougherty, her purser, for files and . report. The B.s. Tui, Captain Wills, left Wellington at 6 p.m. on Jannary 14th. and reached Kaikonras at 5 a.m. next day. Sailed again at 2p.m., and arrived In harbor at 1 a.m. yesterday. Having discharged her cargo of wool into barque Glenlora and at breastwork, and loaded, the Tui sailed ou return trip shortly after 6 p.m. We thank her parser for flies and report. One of the large Government cranes on the breastwork was blown down yesterday morning during one of the strong N.W. puffs. Luckily no one was standing at the time in the immediate Tieurity. A portion of the wood work where the wet had got in between the iron work and the wood was very much decayed. The N.Z. Shipping Company's Bakaia is a full ship, and was to clear the Customs late last night. Besides a valuable cargo she takes nine passengers. The Titan was to tow her out last night's tide, that is about 11 p-m., if the N.W. gale which had been blowing daring the day had then moderated, a contingency which did not seem very probable when our express let port. She sails to-day. The v.s. St. Kilda loaded twenty tons cargo at the No. 8 wharf, and sailed for Wellington and Wanganui at 7 p.m. last night. The s.s. Grafton took aboard thirty tons cargo, and some fat sheep for the Coast, at the No. 3 wharf, and Bailed for Wellington aud West Coast late last night. The barquentine Prince Alfred, which left this port on Thursday in ballast, bound to pSaipara, ran into Wellington harbonr through stress of weather on Sunday last. Wakatipu 'from Wellington to Sidney, and soon after her departure, Mr John Smith, the second engineer of the steamer, who came out with her from Glasgow, was seized with an epileptic fit. Everything was done that conld be to relieve him. but he only lived a short time, dying on the third day out.
