Satueday, April 12. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq., R.M.] Under the Vagbant Aot—Mary Danbury was brought up on remand, charged with keeping a disorderly house at Woodend. Sergeant Pratt had the charge amended, and the accused was charged with a breach of Clause 1 of the Vagrant Act, with having no lawful and visible means of support. G. Gibbs stated he lived next door to accused. She had no means of support, and her house was the resort of men of disorderly character. Mr P. Fearne said the accused was in the habit of drinking intoxicating drinks, and he thought that those who.supplied them were as much to blame as she wsb. The Bench said accused had been allowed One opportunity to recover herself,"but now she would be imprisoned for three months, with hard labor.
