[In these cases the defendants swore on oath to having paid tbe amounts, and judgment was given for the defendants.] J. P. Oliver's estate v. W. Brooke, £S 15s 7d. The defendant did not appear, and judgment was given for the plaintiff, to be paid in fourteen days.
