CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday, April 25. [Before C. C. Bo wen. Esq., 8.M., and George Packe, Esqr., J.P.] Vagrancy—Mary Mitchell (an old offender) for drunkenness and soliciting prostitution in the public streets was sentenced to three months' imprisonment with hard labor. Civil. Cases—ln the following cases judgment was given for the plaintiffs with cos t s : —Martha Anderson v. Thomas Marshall for £5, and costs 9s ; Slee's estate v. A. Stacc, for £4 10s 3d. and costs, £1 3s; D. Manhire v. C.Reynolds, for 12s t>d, and costs, £1 4s; Deacon and Vincent v. P. Purdon, for £1 7s 6d, and costs, 9s : Same v. G. Baylack I for £ 13 17s 6d. and costs 20s; R. Pridgeon v M Healey, for £1 Is 6d, and costs, 16s; Wm.
McKeever v. J. H. Bennett, for £1 10s 6d, and costs, 9s ; Same v. J. Parsons, for 10s, and costs, 16s: Deacon and Vincent v. Scrivnour, for £3 2s Gd, and costs its : A Kerrison v. A. Saunders, for £2 Is Bd, and plaintiff to pay costs, <)s; A. J. Raphael v. T. and A. Doyle, for £6 15s and costs, 19s.
