Championship Climb To Be Held Here
The New Zealand championship motor cycle hill climo will be held at Whakatane on November 18. At a meeting of the Borough Council on Monday night, an application was received from the Bay of Plenty Motor Cycle Club asking for permission to use the Hillcrest road for the event.
It was agreed to make the necessary application to the Minister of Transport.
