Hall Attractively Decorated For Matata Meeting

Matata Presbyterian Hall was made exceptionally gay for the monthly meeting of the Matata Women’s Institute by the many attractive vases of spring bulbs, entered for that competition. A vivid touch of colour was aded by the “Winter Decoration” entry, by Mrs Dredge, wl|o gained first place with sprays of red-fruited pepper plant. Much interest was taken in a talk on “My English Village” given by Mrs Reichardt, who explained the legend of “The Wiltshire Moonrak--ers,” recited an extract from “Poll’s Weddin” in the Wiltshire i dialect, and showed photographs and school work.

Mrs Conn presided, and hostesses were Mesdames Warbrick and Henry and Miss Burt. Spring bulbs, Mrs Smith 1, Mrs Warbrick 2, Mrs M.
