MISSING GIRL
WHEREABOUTS STILL A MYSTERY Inquiries are being made regarding the whereabouts of a half-caste Maori girl who has been missing in Auckland since the night of Tuesday, June 17. She is Lenore. Riria Waa'ka, aged 15% years and she arrived in Auckland nearly a month ago with her father from Whakatane. She went to a picture theatre on Tuesday night with a girl friend, who afterwards left her at the Town Hall to go to her brother's home at 66 Grey's Avenue, where she had been staying. She has not been seen .since. Ift is stated that the only person she knew well in Auckland apart from her relatives, was the girl who accompanied her to the picture theatre.
