RETURNED MEN
GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITY ABSORBED IN INDUSTRY "Over 40,000 men have already been discharged from the services in New Zealand, and of these 28,000 have, been absorbed back into industry without any trouble," said the Minister of Rehabilitation, the Hon. C. F. Skinner, when opening the vocational training centre for disabled .servicemen in Anzac Avenue, Dunedin, recently. "Each one of these men, whether he served overseas or in the home forces, is-a Government responsibility, and is entitled to the fullest assistance in rehabilitating himself."
