OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE AMBULANCE BRIGADE In a circular received by the St. John Ambulance Brigade from Colonel J. L. Sleeman, Chief Commissioner, special mention is made of New Zealand as an outstanding example where with a population of fewer th,an 1,750,000, there are. 150 Cadet Ambulance (personnel 3696) and 124 Cadet Nursing Divisions (personnel 2698) in addition to 154 adult ambulance and 173 adult nursing divisions, or a total of 600, a record strength on the basis of population.
