NEW DAIRY SEASON
MORE FERTILISER AVAILABLE
PROMISE OF ALLOCATION
Application forms for fertiliser based on the number of coavs intended to be milked this coming season have been distributed by the Dairy Companies and merchants. This allocation is in addftion to the normal annual rations. ■ Attention should be given to the completion oi' the form before the end of this month. All applications are to be lodged with the Secretary of the. Eastern. Bay of Plenty Primary Production Council and must be endorsed by a committee man. To ease the position in securing that endorsement, it would be in order for the Dairy Company and other merchants to make that contact on behalf of the applicants. It is desired that farmers should fully avail themselves, of, this distribution and also take advantage of the army labour now offered, the combination of which, would go a long way in preparing for a record butter and cheese output so badly needed overseas. It. is observed from the applications coming to hand, that the intention is to increase the number ol' cows to be milked, so it is hoped every effort will lie made to maintain these figures throughout the season
