Kapiti Delayed By Labour Dispute

Viria Expected At Tauranga Shipment Of Timber For Brisbane The coastal steamer Kapiti which was expected to reach Tauranga on Wednesday with general cargo from Auckland, has been delayed by the labour dispute on the Auckland Waterfront, stated Mr B. P. Andrews

manager ot the Tauranga branch of the Northern Steamship Company, yesterday.

The Swedish vessel Viria. which is at present discharging hardwood posts and Dole's from Australia at Auckland is expected to arrive at Tauranga on Friday morning. She will discharge the balance of her Australian cargo, comprising 2000 hardwood, posts and 53 Doles, before loading 300,000 feet of timber for Brisbane. It is expected that the Viria will be in Tauranga for a week.
