Harbour Charges Control The abolition of Price Tribunal control on harbour charges was announced at the recent harbour boards’ conference in New Plymouth reported the chairman of the Tauranga Harbour Board (Mr J. D. Alach) at the monthly meeting of the board. “This means that in future harbour boards will be able to fix their charges without applying to the Price Investigation Tribunal for aproval. Any amendment to by-laws of harbour boards will still have to be approved bv the Marine Department,’’ Mr Alach said.
