REPARATIONS TALKS IN LONDON
BRITAIN, FRANCE AND U.S.A. OUTSTANDING GERMAN PROBLEMS London, March 15. An informal talk on German reparations.has been held in London between Mr Bevin and the French Forei'gn Minister, M. Schuman, who is in London for the Brussels Treaty Powers talks, and Mr Lewis Douglas, the U S. Ambassador in London. A diplomatic correspondent says there are two main points at issue—the dismantling programme, which a U.S. committee has suggested should be altered: and a revised list of German prohibited industries, about which the three military gov-
ernors had failed to agree. Reports from Paris say the French prefer all outstanding German problems to be discussed at a conference between the foreign ministers of Britain, France and the United States, and this might take place while Mr Bevin and M. Schuman are in Washington for the signing of the Atlantic Pact.
