Mr Bevin's Visit To
Washington

The Consultative Council of the Brussels Treaty Powers is due t< end its London meeting tonight, when an official statement is to be made.
It is expected that the Atlanti' Pact, one of the main subjects discussed, will be signed in Washing
ton early next month, and that ; five foreign ministers of the Brussc Treaty countries—the United Kin/ dom, France, Belgium, the Nethe lands and Luxembourg—will atten' The British Ambassador in Wasl ington, Sir Oliver Franks, had a tsu" with the Secretary of State, M Dean Acheson today on the arrange ments for Mr Bevin's visit. Mr Acheson had a farewell meel ing with the Danish Foreign Min ister, Mr Rasmussen, who has bee 1 in Washington for five days for talk on the attitude of Denmark anc Greenland to the Atlantic Pact. Mr Acheson also saw the Ice landic Foreign Minister.
