TAURANGA GOLF CLUB’S .» SOCIAL DAY i MR AND MRS ROBERTSON ANNEX CONTEST
The Tauranga Golf Club’s summer season social day on Saturday was an, initial success, over 50 players taking part.
The Canadian mixed foursome was won by Mr and Mrs A. G. Robertson, with the good score of 69 2-3, F. Ward and Mrs White being next with 70 1-3. G. .Murray and Mrs Ripley carded 73 1-3. The scoring was not as good as was to be expected, but the fairways were unfortunately very long and the run-in to the greens was difficult to judge accurately.
